Stephanie Snaith – Managing Director
Originally a trained CIMA accountant working in industry Stephanie formed Gradient in 1997 after running various projects which identified the need for ERP project expertise. During that time she has enjoyed working with a broad cross-section of companies selecting and implementing systems that have resulted in real business benefit and that experience has helped Gradient grow to become one of the UK’s leading ERP consultancies. When she gets any free time she enjoys being with her family, traveling and landscape photography.
Mike Smith – Director
Having started his working life in the City Michael has subsequently spent over 25 years running performance and profitability improvement projects, mainly within the manufacturing and logistics sectors. Mike also has a wealth of experience in warehousing (both 3PL and Manufacturing) having been involved at a senior level in developing WMS systems. Mike sings with the RSNO and Paisley Abbey, bakes bread and would like to play Golf again (although by his own admittance hasn’t had time to lift a club for a few years).
Margaret Madden – Business Development Manager
Began her working life as a junior Secretary for a light-engineering company engaged in the manufacture of domestic appliances, eventually ending up as PA to the Group MD. She joined Gradient in 2007 as Office Administrator and because of her ability to communicate and a natural talent for establishing and maintaining business relationships became Business Development Manager shortly after. In her spare time she enjoys house renovation projects and as an avid reader has a penchant for old bookshops.
David Murray – Operations Manager
David has over 17 years’ experience within the construction industry; introducing new quality management systems and best practice policies/procedures to improve operations. He has extensive experience of managing substantial contracts, budgets and staff within a fast paced and technically detailed business sector. His wealth of IT knowledge has been utilised in the past to manage an on-premise server with over 20 user interfaces and implement solutions such as bespoke CRM software. In his spare time he enjoys watching football, spending time with the family and keeping-fit.
Ian Shorrock – Consultant
Ian joined Gradient in 2005 after working in industry for over 20 years starting in textiles and latterly in operations and logistics roles with a global medical devices company – so he feels right at home on the shop floor and can quickly get to know what makes a business tick. Combined with his extensive knowledge of the ERP market place this can be invaluable in system selection projects. Outside of work he can usually be found up a mountain or playing a guitar (badly).
Iwona Malicka-Shepherd – Consultant
A maths graduate, Iwona, followed her heart and in 2001 left Poland for the UK, where she settled with her English husband in the North East. Iwona started working for CAV Aerospace where she was heavily involved in their ERP implementation and met Stephanie who managed the project. Following a move to Lancashire Iwona was invited to work for Gradient. Since then, she has been learning new skills as an ERP consultant. In her spare time she likes to learn new languages and combines her love of art and nature with walking and taking photos.
Guy Wyn-Jones – Consultant
With 30 years’ experience in aviation and aerospace, most recently heavily involved in high order-value manufacturing, Guy has an extensive understanding of the pressures and challenges found in a manufacturing environment. In addition, Guy brings to Gradient a wealth of problem-solving knowledge gained as a customer-facing ERP implementation project manager. Outside of work Guy enjoys spending quality time (when available!) with his wife and three young children, playing and watching sport, and *improving the house (*at least that’s his view…).
Dina Beer – Consultant
As a 20 years veteran of the IT industry Dina has local and global experience in a variety of systems (ERP, CRM, BI, proprietary) and technologies (OS, DW, cyber security) but her real forte is in people and business processes and finding ways to harness IT to support them. Dina has delivered dozens of projects on time and to budget, but most importantly with smiling clients. In her free time Dina enjoys cooking, horse-riding and her family.
David Ajidagba – Consultant
David, a Prince2 certified Project Manager and an MBA holder, started out as an Accountant working for over 10 years across various business and manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Gradient Consulting, David worked as a Business Analyst and Project Manager on several Business transformational, Finance and on multiple ERP Projects, in diverse business sectors. David’s speciality includes: analysing, planning, managing multiple ERP end to end implementations, application of sound knowledge of business priorities, programme review, resource tracking and cross project engagements. David enjoys racquet and combat sports as well as mountaineering.
Mark Williamson – Consultant
With almost 30 years experience in Finance and IT, across different sectors, Mark brings to Gradient a wealth of business knowledge. Keen to take processes, identify issues and make them more efficient with the use of technology, Mark gets a real buzz out of meeting people and explaining the art of the possible. Away from work Mark enjoys travelling. He is also a keen golfer and enjoys cooking, making him equally at home with a sand wedge or sandwich!! Mark would love to appear on Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me.
Folake Oke – Consultant
Fola graduated in Economics with Msc in Business Analysis & Consulting. As a member of the Chartered Management Institute and a certified Agile practitioner Fola has many skills up her sleeves. Her omni-channel, ecommerce and digital marketing business acumen enables her to bring a fresh perspective to any project. She has wealth of experience managing digital transformation and ERP projects both from the client as well as the suppliers’ side. In her leisure time she shops for fine things, spends time with family, dining, or taking pictures that rarely get published.
Andrew Barnett – Consultant
Qualified with BSc / MSc degrees in Manufacturing Technology and Management, Andrew career has involved 20 years in various Operations and Manufacturing Management roles and 10 years in IT Management. He has been an Associate with Gradient Consulting since 2008 undertaking ERP specification and selection projects and Project Managing ERP implementations for manufacturing companies. Andrew plays Squash and enjoys Mountain Biking, Fell Walking and Backpacking
Pete Doyle – Consultant
Pete has a broad career of over 30 years in a variety of IT roles, from Software Development through to Programme Management. Having a BSc in Maths and an MBA, Pete has been an Associate with Gradient Consulting since 2006 and specialises in ERP and CRM system selections and implementations. He has also worked extensively across the world as a Microsoft Certified Trainer. In his spare time Pete enjoys music and when actually ever fit, long distance running.
