Kaydee Blinds/Sayfa Systems

Kaydee Blinds and Sayfa Systems are two separate, but co-owned, companies both supplying products and services to the construction industry. Kaydee’s current ERP system was no longer able to efficiently support their operations and Sayfa’s rapid growth was beginning to be restricted by the lack of integrated IT systems. The senior management team decided that an ERP system selection project was required in order to find a system suitable for both companies.

Lebus Upholstery

Lebus operate in a “Fast Moving – Make To Order” manufacturing environment and with their Management Team highly focussed on process improvements it was identified that their business systems, consisting of bespoke manufacturing package alongside a second application for financial accounts and payroll and a variety of spreadsheets, were holding back progress and that a new ERP system would help support growth in a market of increasing product complexity and with high customer expectations on quality and delivery.

Fever Tree

Fever-Tree are a company that have grown rapidly as their premium products have quickly become a huge success in the marketplace. The company were utilising multiple systems and spreadsheets to manage what was a £100m+ turnover organisation and found that there were silos of information around the business. They could not easily obtain a single version of the truth or a 360o view of their organisation.

Buoyant Upholstery

Having taken over the business as part of an MBO, the Buoyant management recognised the risks associated with running a 15 year old “green screen” system particularly in view of expansion plans for the business and therefore decided to undergo a an ERP system selection project. Any shortcomings of the system were resolved by the use of several increasingly complex spreadsheet applications which were heavily dependent on key personnel. The system, whilst able to assist with most of the functional requirements of the business represented a significant risk to the growing business as support was in short supply and complexity in the business was growing.
